Established in 2005, Wanda Cinema Line was a subsidiary of Wanda Group. As at June 30, 2014, Wanda Cinema has operated 150 theaters in over 80 cities nationwide, with projection screens of 1,315, in which 94 are IMAX screens. Wanda Cinema accounted for 14.5% of box office shares nationwide in 2014. Increasing 400 screens annually from 2014 onwards, Wanda Cinema will take up the first place in China in terms of market share with target theaters of 260 and 2,300 screens in 2016.
